One of the most anticipated features by users of the mobile messaging service is now available.
WhatsApp now allows you to delete a message sent in error. It works both for content sent individually or in a group.
Steps to follow
- Select the message (press and hold on the text, emoji or multimedia message)
- Press the trash can icon to delete
- When the context menu appears you can choose to
- Delete for me
- Delete for all
- Cancel
If you choose any of the delete methods, you will receive a notification warning that the message has been deleted.
Restriction
If you choose the option Delete for everyone it will only work within a period of no more than seven minutes after sending the message, otherwise the option will not be available.
