Google modified its logo for the seventh time, in my opinion, with a successful change of typography compared to its predecessor, surely the change originated as part of the new business group called Alphabet. Let us remember that at the beginning of August it was announced that within a few months, Google will be renamed Alphabet, which is a radical restructuring of the company. The search engine and Internet-related businesses such as YouTube, Android or Chrome will continue to be called Google, which, like the other companies and projects, will be a subsidiary of Alphabet.
The change
They took the Google logo and brand, which was originally created for a browser page on the desktop, and updated them with the idea of using it on a multitude of devices and different types of input such as touch, keyboard and voice.
The idea is not only to indicate that are using Google, but it also shows how Google works. New elements can be seen such as a colorful microphone helps them identify and interact with Google, whether they are talking, tapping or typing.
They also say goodbye to the little blue "G" icon and replace it with a symbol that matches the logo.
