Technology advances and with it TVs, the growing popularity of Netflix, YouTube and similar services have catapulted Smart TVs into one of the most entertaining electronic devices for the family. There are many companies that have external devices more powerful than a dongle that will turn your TV into a smart one.
Apple TV, Roku, Claro Video, offer their services through them. They have greater storage and that significantly increases their cost, but it is still a very good alternative. One of its greatest virtues is storing series or movies and watching the content whenever you want, even without having connectivity.
Consoles
Many PlayStation 4 or Xbox video game consoles connect to the internet through the HDMI port.
Most of these devices can connect and view any multimedia content through the streaming service.
Notebook
Your notebook is an alternative, in minutes you will be watching multimedia content on your old TV.
Although it is not appropriate due to its discomfort, the new Notebooks have an HDMI port, and it is what you need to be able to connect it to the TV in the same way as with a console.
