After announcing that there are already 110 million computers with Windows 10, Microsoft presented in New York its new line of devices based on the multiplatform operating system with a renewed generation of Lumia smartphones and two models of Surface computers. In this segment, the prominent announcement was in the Surface Book, a notebook with a detachable screen, the first of its kind manufactured by the company led by Satya Nadella.
With the same design line that the other Microsoft equipment has, the Surface Book is located in the segment known as convertible computers or two in one, versatile models that allow you to take advantage of its touch screen like a tablet, 13.5 inches and a pixel density of 267 ppi (3000 x 2000 pixels). Inside, the computer has the sixth generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, known as Skylake, along with an Nvidia graphics unit located in the base, in addition to 8 or 16 GB of RAM for the computer.
The base of the Surface Book has a full physical keyboard with backlit keys, accompanied by a trackpad that supports up to five points of contact to perform gestures and movements. In turn, Microsoft ensures that its laptop has a battery life of up to 12 hours.
Without further data available on other technical specifications, the company announced that the Surface Book will go on the market on October 26 with a base price of $1,499 depending on its configuration.
