An announcement went practically unnoticed during the presentation of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus: the iPhone Upgrade Program, which by paying US$32 per month guarantees the user to always have the latest model of Apple's phone.

The iPhone Upgrade Program for now only works in the US, but nothing will prevent Apple from launching it outside that country, thus increasing the number of ways to have a high-end device.

Currently, there are two ways to buy equipment: unlocked or through an operator, tied to a service plan that varies the final price, depending on how much is paid per month.

Apple seemed to find an intermediate plan and Samsung would be about to sign up, also offering high-end equipment under the condition of monthly payments.

Apple's plan allows you to pay 100% of the iPhone in 24 months, giving the option of having the latest smartphone model after 12 payments. Prices start at US$32.41 per month for a 16GB iPhone 6S and reach US$44.91 per month if the user chooses a 128GB iPhone 6S Plus. iPhone Upgrade Program allows you to choose which mobile operator will provide the service.
