As expected and as rumored prior to the presentation, the Apple TV won all the applause of the night, with the iPhone being one of the products that least impacted its followers. Although it does not present new technologies compared to other brands, you can see improvements with respect to its previous versions.
Below we detail the most significant:
3DTouch
3D Touch is a technology that detects the intensity with which you press the screen.
According to the level of intensity applied to the pressure, the iPhone will be able to perform different actions offered in the form of contextual menus, blurring the remaining area with very pleasant transition effects. The iPhone continues to respond even to light touches thanks to its Taptic Engine.
Cameras
It improved its rear camera which it calls iSight, now with 12 Mpx resolution.
It manages to record 4K videos with a resolution up to four times higher than 1080p HD, although several of its competitors have introduced this technology for quite some time. The Front camera, called FaceTime HD, was also improved this time with a resolution of 5 Mpx and specially optimized for taking selfies.
A9 processor
Features the latest 64-bit A9 chip
The CPU is 70% faster than its predecessor and the GPU performs up to 90% more, allowing very good performance in applications and games.
Housing and colors
Its housing is made from a new 7000 series aluminum alloy, the same material used in the aerospace industry.
The glass cover is the most resistant and durable. Referring to the colors of its previous version, space gray, silver and gold, now a metallic pink is added.
General improvements
Improves security through Touch ID that features a fingerprint sensor.
Referring to its operating system, it is iOS 9, with new integrated apps, such as Siri, the voice recognizer.
