Until now, WhatsApp was not for the impulsive, if there is something that was totally inadvisable, it is being angry with someone and letting them know through the messaging service, even more so when you regret it, and you cannot go back in time.
WhatsApp is working on incorporating a functionality that allows you to delete sent messages in a simple way, just by holding your finger down for a few seconds on the text we want to delete.
According to what they say Rumors say this function will be called Revoke and will work in both individual and group chats. What has yet to be confirmed is whether this option will only work before the message is read or whether it can also be used when the message already has a double blue tick.
It is still unknown how it will work or be applied to images, but when text is deleted, the recipient will see a legend instead that says "The sender has revoked the message". This means that the recipient will know that we have regretted what we have said and have deleted it, although they will have no way of discovering what the text originally contained.
Although at the moment it is a rumor since WhatsApp has not declared anything about it, it is expected that in the next update of the beta version we will be able to have this functionality.
