Broadcasts from Periscope can now be saved for more than one day. All the user has to do is add the #save tag to the videos to store the content permanently.
This new feature was announced by Periscope President Kayvon Beykpour via Twitter.
Working on supporting broadcasts beyond 24h! Starting now, you can use our public beta by using #save in your title! https://t.co/LsjqsSib7v

For now, It is in the testing phase and they are working on a solution, in the future, that does not require the use of the #save tag to work.
It is not necessary to update the application to use this feature. Once the testing period concludes, a more complete solution will be implemented to manage and store the content generated in Periscope.
Another new feature is that Periscope now prioritizes people that the user knows or follows when they enter the broadcast. This function operates both as an observer and as a video generator.
Saved transmissions can be deleted whenever the user wishes. Analysts believe that the possibility of storing videos will make it easier for advertisers to want to advertise on the platform.
Facebook recently introduced the option of broadcasting live video through its platform. There is the possibility of watching them again after the broadcast has concluded.
