Todo Pago and its web platform seek to position themselves as an alternative for collections and payments, both for individuals and for e-commerce sites.
With a level of operations estimated at 70 million pesos, 20 thousand transactions and 1,500 accounts opened in a month, the collection platform Todo Pago was officially presented by Prisma, the firm that brings together Visa, Banelco and Monedero, among other firms.
"All Payment in a multi-brand solution, which allows access to an online payment and collections platform for both buyers and sellers of all categories, both individuals and SMEs or large chains that require an online presence for their stores," says Hernán Romañach, manager of Prisma's New Payment Platforms.
With a system that requires free registration using a username and password in www.todopago.com.ar, Todo Pago offers various options so that users of the service can complete transactions online, with digital buttons that can be attached to websites, email messages or social media posts. It also has various add-ons, known in the jargon as plugins, available for the main blogging and content management platforms.
With a limit per operation of up to 200 thousand pesos, the costs of Todo Pago range from a percentage of 4.9 percent on a sale in a single payment, and 10 percent on those transactions financed in up to 12 installments. The money for the transaction will be available ten business days after carrying out the operation, and the transfer to a bank account has no extra charge.
Given its features, the comparison with MercadoPago is inevitable, a prominent player within the local e-commerce ecosystem thanks to MercadoLibre, or PayU, the name of the service that had DineroMail as its brand.
"We do not have our own marketplace, because our intention is to have the necessary flexibility to be in all the markets. segments, both in individuals and in SMEs and large companies interested in having a multi-card collections platform with the option of being able to operate with Visa, Mastercard and American Express, among others, and that has the support of the main banks in the market," says Romañach.
At this point, the executive responsible for Prisma's new payment platforms adds that Todo Pago has the experience offered by the company's services in other market segments, such as Banelco, Pago mis libros, Visa, Lapos and Monedero.
One of the security verification systems will be based on the user's identity along with the ownership of the bank account when configuring the CBU number in the Todo Pago account.
The objective for Prisma for this year is for Todo Pago to reach 7,000 accounts and add more than 450 largest companies in the local market. In turn, they are betting that the service will have around 500 thousand buyers in the coming months.
