Google's online office suite, Docs, incorporated the possibility of using voice dictation to generate text, as other tools already have to transform audio into text but, in this case, without requiring the installation of additional software.
To do this, you must enable the function in Tools when you are using Google Docs in Chrome. This generates a button that allows you to activate and deactivate the voice recognition.
The service, which works in Spanish, is quite sophisticated, and with a good Internet connection it allows you to speak quite quickly, although it requires a fairly quiet environment for a fairly accurate recognition.
It also recognizes voice commands to enter a comma, a period or a line break, although in our tests it was difficult for it to distinguish the order from the dictation itself.
The company also added a search tool in the version of Google Docs for Android, which allows you to search without leaving the application to add quotes, numbers or images.
And in the spreadsheet it now allows you to generate, as in Microsoft Excel, automatic graphs based on the content of a range of cells. It also works on Android.
What do you think?
