Finally WhatsApp made its new version a reality for Windows and Mac.
However, it does not meet the expectations of users who expected more, in the same way that the previous version will not be able to use the service without their phone attached to the computer, and they will have to synchronize it with the QR code as in the previous version. Translated, it means that if the phone's WhatsApp doesn't work, the desktop one won't work.
So far, nothing new, but looking at the positive side, if we are working in front of a PC or notebook, it certainly allows us to operate faster in every aspect, we type faster from an extended keyboard and on the other hand, it allows us to multitask better with a PC compared to the phone.

The company clarifies that in order to use it, the user must have Windows 8 installed. (or higher) and Mac OS X 10.9 (or higher).
How do I log in? Steps to follow
- Click on the following link: https://web.whatsapp.com/ and the main screen with the QR code will appear.
- On your phone you must click on the 3 vertical dots and choose the WhatsApp Web option
- Scan the QR code on the screen to connect and ready.
Remember that for correct operation both devices must be connected.
Conclusion
A friend recently lost his cell phone and had no way to communicate. Imagine having to buy a new device, activate the line, and all the other paperwork. When he finally got it sorted, a couple of long days passed without any communication. If he'd had WhatsApp Web, it would have been a different story.
All of us who were hoping to be able to chat on WhatsApp without relying on our phones will have to wait for a future version. There are many reasons for this: battery savings, independence, practicality, among others... Let's hope the WhatsApp team surprises us soon.
