Windows 10 will cover a wide range of devices: computers, tablets, phones, Xbox One, HoloLens Microsoft Surface and hubs.
It will also reach other devices around us, the core devices that make up the Internet, elevators, ATMs, wearable heart rate monitors. No matter what Windows 10 device they use, the idea is to make the user feel comfortable using it.
They also intend to offer a single Universal Windows store where they can find, try and buy applications for Windows.
Windows 10 Versions
As in the past, Windows offers different versions that adapt to various types of devices and applications. These different editions will be able to satisfy the specific needs of each user, whether small consumers or companies.
Windows 10 Home
It is the consumer-focused desktop edition.
Delivers a familiar and personal experience for PCs, tablets and 2-in-1s. Windows 10 Home will help people do great things. The user will be more productive and have more fun thanks to a long list of new innovations.
- Cortana, the largest personal digital assistant in the world;
- the new Microsoft Edge web browser;
- Continuum tablet mode for touch devices;
- Welcome windows using facial, iris and fingerprint recognition for entry;
Of course accompanied by a wide range of Windows Universal applications, such as photos, maps, mail, calendar, music and videos.
Windows will also embed its gaming experience in Windows 10 for Xbox, giving gamers and gamers access to the Xbox Live gaming community, which allows capture and participation in the game, allowing Xbox One owners the ability to play their games from any PC on Windows 10 home.

Windows 10 Pro
It is a desktop edition for PCs, tablets and 2-in-1s.
Building on the familiar and innovative features of Windows home, it has many additional features to meet the diverse needs of small businesses. Windows 10 Pro helps you effectively and efficiently manage your devices and applications, protect your confidential company data, supporting remote and mobile device productivity scenarios, leveraging internet technologies. It will also enable access to the new Windows Update for Business, which will reduce management costs, provide controls over update deployment, offer faster access to security updates, and provide access to the latest Microsoft innovations on an ongoing basis.
As we announced earlier this year, for the first time in history, we are offering the full versions of Windows 10 Home, Windows 10, and Windows 10 Mobile Pro as a free and easy upgrade to qualify for Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows Phone 8.1 devices need to upgrade in the first year after its release. Once your system is updated, you have free Windows 10 on that device.
Windows 10 Enterprise
It is based on Windows 10 Pro, adding advanced features designed to meet the demands of medium and large organizations.
It provides advanced capabilities to help protect against growing security threats targeting devices, identities, applications, and sensitive enterprise information.
Windows 10 Enterprise also supports the widest range of options for operating system deployment and end-to-end device and application management. It will be available to our volume licensing customers, so they can take advantage of the latest innovation and security updates on an ongoing basis. At the same time, they will be able to choose the pace at which they adopt new technologies, including the option to use the new Windows Enterprise update.
As with previous versions of Windows, active Software Assurance customers in volume licensing can upgrade to Windows 10 Enterprise as part of their existing benefits.
Windows 10 Education
It is based on Windows 10 Enterprise, and is designed to meet the needs of schools, education staff, administrators, teachers and students.
This edition will be available through academic volume licenses. It was designed so that schools and students use Windows 10 Education, and not Windows 10 home and Windows 10 Pro.
Windows 10 Mobile
It is designed to offer the best user experience on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
It has the same applications that are included in Windows 10 Home, as well as the new touch-optimized version of Office. Windows 10 Mobile offers great productivity, security and management for customers who use their personal devices at work. Additionally, Windows 10 Mobile will allow some devices to use Continuum for the phone, so people can use their phone like a PC when connected to a larger screen.
Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise
It is designed to deliver the best customer experience for business customers on smartphones and tablets.
It will be available to volume license users.
It offers the great productivity, security and mobile device management capabilities that Windows 10 Mobile offers, and adds flexible ways for businesses to manage updates. Additionally, Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise will incorporate the latest security and innovation features as soon as they are available.
Windows 10 IoT Core
It is a tiny version, intended for low-cost industry-oriented devices such as ATMs, retail points of sale, handheld terminals, industrial robotics and gateways.
Conclusion
Microsoft plans to bring Windows 10 to 190 countries and 111 languages. Microsoft's new approach is to use user experience to help improve Windows 10, even after its official launch.
Windows Insiders already has 3.9 million testers and is constantly growing, which will allow for the completion of Windows 10 development, testing, and improvement.
This feedback will undoubtedly help improve Windows, but users will also see benefits regardless of the device they use.
