This is a new exclusive Internet domain for all the actors that make up the musical activity in our country. In this way, a specific area is launched that arises from the joint work between INAMU (National Institute of Music) and NIC Argentina with the aim of providing Argentine music with its own space on the Internet under a national imprint.
Who can acquire it?
The domains .musica.ar can only be registered by those users enabled by the INAMU. This will be the competent body in charge of validating that behind a domain .musica.ar there is always an identifiable person or group, registered in the Single Registry of Musicians and National Musical Groups, or in the Registry of Musical Activity that it manages.
In this way, solo musicians, groups, media, live music spaces, recording studios, teaching institutions, record labels, record stores and all the actors that make up musical activity in our country will have the possibility of being immediately identified on the Internet.
The registration of domains in this zone requires prior authorization that can be requested in the same way as for other special zones, from our special zones digital form. For the moment, only the Zone Enabling request will be available.
How to register a .musica.ar domain?
First of all, it is necessary to have a CUIT/CUIL Number, Level 3 Tax Code and enter AFIP and adhere to the "Domain Administration" and "Remote Procedures" services, as indicated in Nic Argentina. Once you have managed to enter Nic.Ar to request it.
Remember that you will be able to register .musica.ar domains, those registered in the INAMU records, where you must request a Special Zone authorization. Once enabled, you can register your domain following the steps specified in Nic.Ar
