It was initially developed by Android Inc. Android was released on November 5, 2007. It is currently developed by the Open Handset Alliance, which brings together software and hardware manufacturers, including Google, T-Mobile, HTC, Qualcomm and Motorola among others.
Android Market
Android market is an online software developed by Google for Android devices. It is an application called "Marketplace" that is pre-installed on most Android devices and that allows users to search and download applications published by third-party developers, some paid and some free, it all depends on the developer.
Users can also search and obtain information about applications on this website and even vote and comment as they see fit about the application itself.
