To create a survey it is only necessary to write the question as if it were a tweet and click on the survey icon -or poll- that appears below, where a couple of options can be placed to carry out the connection, CNN reported.
These surveys will be visible to the users who write them, who will be able to follow the conversation and find out the results. They will remain active for 24 hours and the preferences of those who participate will not be broadcast.
Jack Dorsey, the newly appointed CEO of the social network, said during its annual Twitter Flight event in San Francisco, California, that the company is looking for a way to have more conversations with its users because "every voice counts."
Jeff Seibert, senior product director and who unveiled the new tool, added that it will be open to all users in the coming days.
