Snap Inc announced that: "They are implementing a pretty big change in the way snaps (posts) are created and sent. We are reorganizing the design of our creative tools and adding a new feature: "infinity"

What is the new idea?

Snapchat was born as an app that broke with the idea of permanence of Facebook and Instagram and that operated very differently from its competitors. But as of now, The messaging platform will allow you to send snaps (images and videos) without a time limit.

With the new tools, users will be able to look at the posts of their contacts beyond the 24 hours that were established at the beginning.

It definitely declares war on Facebook

This is the biggest transformation of Spiegel's company so far in its attempt to beat its biggest competitor, Facebook. Social has introduced new settings, such as a "magic eraser" to remove parts of an image, something that previously could only be done through applications like Photoshop Fix.

"These changes will allow us to continue evolving and lay the foundation to introduce even more creative tools," the company said in a statement.

We imagine that Facebook engineers will not be angry since they have been copying Snapchat for some time and offering similar products to their Facebook users ("Messenger Day"), WhatsApp ("Status") and Instagram ("Stories").
